Have I really not posted since mid-December???
Life was busy, busy this Christmas - but in a very good way! We had so much fun with all the celebrating and Santa-talk. We headed to Butner for the three days before Christmas. Walker woke up at Grandma and Papa's and thought Santa had come. I'd say that Grandma still likes to play Santa ;). Walker loved all his new toys so much that he didn't ask to ride the tractor. The biggest hit was the Thomas the Train Mine Shaft. It's seen lots of use since then. On Christmas Eve we headed back to Charlotte. We were really sad that we only got to see Uncle Ryan as we were pulling out. I'll have to remind him that he needs to get his work schedule worked out well in advance next year. They boys were exhausted when we got back home. We got back home and had the afternoon to unpack. After the boys were in bed, we spent the rest of the night - until 11:30 to be exact - waiting for Santa's visit. The next morning was so much fun! We were a little bleary-eyed but seeing Walker's face made it all worth-while. He couldn't believe his eyes when he saw the tractor brought him in the sunroom under the tree! Both boys got lots of Thomas trains for their track. We played inside until it warmed up a bit and we could go outside to ride the tractor.
Memommy and Poppy came over around 10 to open presents. Then, G-Daddy and Linda came over that afternoon and stayed for chili. At the end of the day, we were exhausted and a little sad that all the excitement was over.
Here are some pics...something is wrong with my camera - I need to check the settings - so my pictures are terrible.
