Summer days, busy days!

Since summer is almost over, we're trying to fit in as much as we can. Today Walker asked to go to the animal store (Pet Smart) and to ride his bike around the playground at Mountainbrook. I had already made plans to meet the O'Neal boys at a different playground, so we stuck to that plan. The boys loved playing on the baseball field. They kicked around the soccer ball for a little while and then decided to find some sticks to build a fire. Webby was so funny with all the big boys. He isn't the least bit phased by them! Wyatt O'Neal has definite opinions about how things are done. Sweet Walker is patient with Wyatt when he starts to take care. But, I was proud of him and he stood his ground and let Wyatt know that he has some ideas, too. Webby, has never had a problem letting people know how he thinks things should be done! This afternoon, we took Pepper to the vet for her annual check-up. She got a great report! I have been nervous about a few spots that have popped up on her. The doctor looked at a few of them and thought they all looked good and normal. Walker was so sweet. He had a bad reaction to his 5-year old shots last week and was so worried about Pepper having her shots. He got the saddest look on his face when the doctor brought out a needle to aspirate a little spot on Pepper's tummy. He's so connected to sweet Pepper! Webby was the comic relief during the appointment. Walking around, being silly with Pepper. Walker said when I was taking his picture that he wanted to make a funny face...not sure what he thinks a funny is...
